Stephanie Stefanic brings a unique blend of education, leadership, and real-world experience to her role in the insurance industry. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education, Communication, and Leadership, along with a minor in Animal Science—both with an Equine emphasis. After working in the equine industry, Stephanie returned to school and earned a Master of Arts in Education from Georgetown College in August 2005.
Stephanie spent several years as a certified special education teacher with Scott County Schools, where her passion for helping others and advocating for their needs truly flourished. While teaching, she continued her own education, earning a second Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University in May 2008.
In 2006, Stephanie married her husband Damon, also an educator and now the principal at Garth Elementary. After welcoming their first daughter, Adalynn, in 2011, Stephanie made the decision to stay home and focus on family. This transition also marked the beginning of her insurance career, initially specializing in equine and livestock insurance—an area where her background and passion naturally aligned. Their second daughter, Brookelynn, was born in 2013.
Over the years, Stephanie has expanded her expertise into personal and commercial insurance, continuing to build strong relationships with clients and providing thoughtful guidance to help them protect what they’ve worked so hard to achieve. She takes great pride in getting to know her clients, understanding their needs, and always working in their best interest.
Outside of work, Stephanie stays incredibly active in the community. She supports Damon and Garth Elementary, manages life on their Kentucky Proud farm, and keeps up with her daughters’ busy schedules. Adalynn and Brookelynn are heavily involved in 4-H and FFA, showing multiple species, including cattle and Mini Lop rabbits. Stephanie is a member of Southland Christian Church, serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce, chairs the Chamber’s Emerging Leaders Committee, volunteers with Alliance of Therapy Dogs alongside two of her dogs, trains and handles search and recovery dogs, shows Catahoula dogs, and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
